My Story
Having had a busy career in London and then two children in quick succession, my family and I moved to Bali. It was here that I first began to understand the benefits of including regular massage into my packed schedule, as it helped to alleviate a long term back problem. So profoundly did it enrich my life I decided to learn the art of massage, so I could help others. I was taught the art of Balinese massage by the highly respected Balinese master – ‘Pak Ketut’.
On returning to the UK, five years later, I continued my studies, in more depth, adding other forms of massage therapy, sports massage, reflexology and, in 2021, medical acupuncture, to my treatment practice. In addition, I’ve attended a continuous professional development course in cancer care reflexology, and I also volunteer, offering treatments at a local hospice.
I’ve run a successful UK based therapy practice since 2010.
When I’m not working, or walking my dogs, I enjoy road and mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding, playing tennis and HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training).
